General Motors Europe

General Motors is a company many people have heard of. Producing automobiles under a number of names, GMEurope is the single largest importer of motor vehicles into the UK. Vauxhall, Saab, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Hummer are all sold in the United Kingdom. The Vauxhall Astra and Vivaro van are produced in country also. Vauxhall models are also sold badged as Opel in the Republic of Ireland.

I was approached by Ian Smith and Mick Bird of GME Aftersales, Warehouse Operations to produce a web interface to enable retailers to provide feedback on parts and accessories deliveries throughout the UK and Ireland. I have produced a simple but effective e-mail based webform for this purpose and am currently developing a database driven reporting system to accompany this.
